Electronic Permit Pre-Registration System BIREG began to be applied in Hungary

By the decision of Hungarian official authorities, Hungary has set up an electronic system (BIREG) to ensure traceability and control of the legal use of bilateral and multilateral permits necessary for the international road freight transport, the usage of which is mandatory.

Since 1 January 2021, BIREG is in force that requires all transport companies to register their operations. Enforcement of the law started on 1 February 2021.
