BSEC-URTA Secretary General Mehmet Uylukcu and Deputy Secretary General Alpdogan Kahraman visited the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, and its esteemed team on 16th April 2024.

Mehmet Uylukcu shared the crucial achievements of BSEC-URTA, the evolution of BSEC permits, and its endless efforts to improve the BCPs, digitalization, and facilitation of international road transport in the BSEC region.

The International Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States presented the importance of digitalization and gave details of how the Turkic States became the first region to introduce the e-permit.

The extraordinary cooperation between OTS, IRU, and UNECE on e-TIR and e-CMR was also significant: OTS firmly signals the continuation of digitalization projects as a pioneer.

The delegations agreed to continue cooperating as the symbols of unity in finding common solutions for common problems.
