BSEC-URTA Recognizes its Vice Presidents for Their Contributions

Cooperation and solidarity constitute fundamental principles of BSEC-URTA.

At the 64th Meeting of BSEC-URTA, the organization formally acknowledged the contributions of its current Vice Presidents, Mr. Apostolos Kenanidis (OFAE, Hellenic Republic) and Mr. Aleksander Spasic (Pumedtrans, Serbia). Their efforts in advancing international road transport and logistics within the BSEC region during their respective terms were duly recognized.

The dedication exhibited by these individuals during challenging circumstances, such as the earthquake in Türkiye, as well as their initiatives to improve border crossing points and enhance logistics infrastructure for more efficient transit within the BSEC region, will be sincerely commemorated.

The incoming Vice Presidents, Julian Postica (AITA, Moldova) and Mr. Romeo Medan (UNTRR, Romania), who will assume their roles in 2025, were also in attendance. They expressed their gratitude to their predecessors and familiarized themselves with BSEC-URTA’s ongoing work program.

As a gesture of appreciation, BSEC-URTA President Eduart Kasa, alongside IRU Secretary General Umberto De Pretto, presented pens to the outgoing Vice Presidents in recognition of their valuable contributions.

BSEC-URTA extends its sincere thanks to Mr. Kenanidis and Mr. Spasic for their service during their vice presidential terms and anticipates engaging in numerous successful logistics projects within the BSEC region using the pens bestowed upon them.
