The 63rd PABSEC Committee on Economic and Development Policy meeting took place in Istanbul on 17 October 2024
The BSEC-URTA International Team, comprising Secretary General Mehmet Uylukcu and BSEC experts Elif and Sadiye Nuhoglu, participated in the event to discuss the essential role of logistics in fostering economic development within the BSEC region.
It was noteworthy to observe the considerable attention the Parliamentarians dedicated to key issues during the PABSEC meeting. In particular, they highlighted the importance of digitalizing transit documents for road transport, facilitating professional driver visas, and streamlining visa procedures. These initiatives are anticipated to contribute to enhanced economic cooperation and mutual benefits among the participating states.
