BSEC PERMIS and BSEC-URTA are hand in hand for BSEC transporters.  2025 BSEC Permits delivered to BSEC PERMIS by BSEC-URTA.

The BSEC Permit serves not only as a logistical instrument applicable for bilateral, transit, and third-country transport operations within the BSEC member countries that participate in the BSEC Permit system but also symbolizes solidarity, collaboration, and a shared creative vision.

This initiative has evolved annually, benefiting from the synergy among the member countries involved in the BSEC Permit system.

The BSEC Permit is a project managed by BSEC PERMIS in cooperation with the BSEC-URTA and International Road Transport Union (IRU).

Within this framework, BSEC-URTA bears the responsibility of designing, preparing, and packaging BSEC Permits, adhering to the stipulated deadline of December 15 each year, to ensure timely delivery to BSEC PERMIS for dissemination to the consulates of member states in Istanbul.

This year, BSEC-URTA demonstrated commendable diligence by delivering the permits on November 29, 2024, which is 16 days in advance of the required deadline.

The quota for 2025 is set at 5.000 for each country and 800 for Armenia, and it is imperative that this quota be expanded geographically owing to the prolonged waiting period for Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, and Greece to join the system.

BSEC PERMIS has taken the initiative to coordinate the permits while also actively preparing the 2025 BSEC Permits for distribution among the BSEC member countries and, as always, actively supporting BSEC-URTA during the preparations of the 2025 Permits.

The international secretariat of BSEC-URTA expresses its sincere gratitude to both BSEC PERMIS and IRU for their support of the BSEC Permits.

BSEC Permits will continue to facilitate trade and transport within the BSEC region.
