BSEC-URTA Family
By the request of the International Transporters’ Association of Turkey (UND), the founding member of BSEC-URTA, an online meeting was organized with the participation of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) Secretary General Mr. Umberto De Pretto, UND President and BSEC-URTA Honorary President Mr. Cetin Nuhoglu, BSEC-URTA Senior Advisor Mr. Adrian Albu to discuss SMP’s full membership to the IRU.
In addition to UND, BSEC-URTA members ANALTIR, AMERIT, TOBB, TOBB-UND, ABADA, and Pumedtrans declared their support for SMP’s prospective membership to the IRU, expressing gratitude for SMP’s active support to the work conducted by the BSEC-URTA and solidarity provided for road transporters from the BSEC region especially during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.
SMP is a professional association with a membership of 820 international road freight transport operators in Bulgaria and its objectives include supporting growth of road transportion sector, enhancing the level of education and qualifications in the sector by promoting higher education and professional competence of transport personnel, cooperating with other national and international associations and unions.
