BSEC-URTA delegation with its esteemed guests visited the Alat Port and took information from the officials.
According to the information received from the Alat Port representatives, the Middle Corridor provides the shortest connection between the BSEC region and Central Asia.
Delegations discussed that the Middle Corridor with its important advantages needs Border Crossing Facilitation, facilitated Customs and Tariff regime, and infrastructural improvements both by the countries located in the Caspian Sea.
BSEC-URTA delegation presented the important need for the application of a fixed timetable for the Ro-Pax ships serving in the Caspian Sea, economical and modern truck parks for the drivers, and appropriate Ro-Pax ships with adequate capacity.
