A Huge Step for Intermodality in Constanta, Romania in cooperation with DP World
Constanza hosted an extraordinary event for the future of intermodal transport in the BSEC region.
DP World invested 130 Million Euros in Constanta port, which will certainly open new perspectives for the development of intermodal transport and contribute to the ease of the congested borders of the BSEC region.
The line is expected to enhance the movement of goods between mainland Europe and the Black, North, and Adriatic Seas.
The official inauguration of the Ro-Ro terminal on 15 May 2024 was graced by the esteemed presence of key figures, including the Prime Minister of Romania, H.E. Mr. Marcel Ciolacu, Minister of Transport of Romania, Mr Sorin Geindeanu, and the CEO of DP World, H.E. Sultan. Mohamed Ben Sulayem underscored the significance of this momentous occasion.
