Information multiplies by sharing; experts from the BSEC-URTA family join the Erasmus Project in Türkiye
BSEC-URTA member UND spearheads a transformative Erasmus Project, the “UND Erasmus + International Logistics Internship and On-the-Job Learning Mobility Program,” which will profoundly impact the education and logistics sectors.
As the last event of the project, UND hosted Olivera Miovska, the President of Best Mobility (National Transport Association of North Macedonia), Prof. Verica Dancevska from the Faculty of Traffic and Transport, Faculty of Technical Sciences, St. Kliment Ohridski University and Iro Doumani, General Manager of OFAE, in Istanbul.
During the visit, esteemed members of the BSEC-URTA family shared valuable insights on the logistics profession’s entry requirements in North Macedonia and Greece, sector developments and trends, and vocational and higher education systems in logistics. This information was shared with approximately 150 students from grades 9-12 at Kagıthane ITO Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The visit also included a meeting with the Dean of the Istanbul University Faculty of Transportation and Logistics to discuss ongoing logistics trends from the BSEC region and the Turkish perspective.
The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the IRU General Delegate Erman Ereke to discuss the project results.
