BSEC-URTA International Secretariat Visited the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye
The BSEC-URTA International Secretariat paid a visit to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye on 2nd April 2026 to discuss ongoing and future cooperation in the field of road transport.
During the meeting, the BSEC-URTA International Secretariat held consultations with Deputy Director General Mr. Hasan Boz and Head of Department Mr. Zafer Kögmen regarding the development of its electronic permit system, benefiting from Türkiye’s extensive experience in this field.
The discussions focused on Türkiye’s know-how and best practices in electronic permit systems, while also providing an opportunity for an exchange of views and information on the platform that BSEC-URTA is planning to develop.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the BSEC-URTA BSEC Permit Hotline Project, which aims to enhance service quality for transport operators and strengthen the efficiency of supply chains across the BSEC region.
