BSEC-URTA and Women in TLP Sign Cooperation Agreement

BSEC-URTA and the Women in Trade Logistics Partnership (Women in TLP) for Central Asia and the Caucasus signed a cooperation agreement during BSEC-URTA’s 25th anniversary celebrations in Istanbul.

The agreement was signed by Ms Elizabeta Ivanovska, Chair of the BSEC-URTA Working Party on the Role of Women in Road Transport, and Ms Aizhan Beiseyeva, Chairperson of Women in TLP – Central Asia & Caucasus, with the support of BSEC-URTA President Mr Eduart Kasa.

Women are a vital force in BSEC-URTA and across the transport sector. The energy, expertise and commitment of the Working Party have made it one of the Union’s most active groups. This new partnership carries that spirit of cooperation beyond the Black Sea region, connecting it with efforts to strengthen women’s participation in transport and logistics across Central Asia and the Caucasus.

BSEC-URTA thanks Ms Beiseyeva for joining us on this special occasion. We look forward to many years of shared work and to creating more opportunities for women across our connected regions.
