BSEC-URTA Participates in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials
One of the final and most significant meetings of 2025, the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials (CSO), was held with the participation of the BSEC-URTA delegation. The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary General Mr. Alpdoğan Kahraman, together with BSEC Experts Ms. Sadiye Nuhoglu and Ms. Elif Nuhoglu.
On behalf of the BSEC-URTA International Secretariat, Ms. Sadiye Nuhoglu delivered remarks highlighting the Organisation’s concrete and practical contributions throughout the year. She underlined that, despite ongoing global economic challenges, 2025 presented a valuable opportunity to further strengthen cooperation, modernise transport infrastructure, and develop more resilient and efficient transport corridors across the BSEC region.
During the meeting, BSEC-URTA expressed its sincere appreciation to Bulgaria for its highly productive Chairmanship in 2025, noting that Bulgaria’s strong European perspective and extensive expertise in logistics made a significant contribution to advancing regional transport and connectivity. At the same time, BSEC-URTA warmly congratulated Georgia on assuming the BSEC Chairmanship and conveyed its best wishes for a successful and impactful term, emphasizing Georgia’s vital role in enhancing regional connectivity and cooperation as the Organisation moves forward into 2026.
